last update
How about that... First time in a while that I got my weekly update done on a Friday! This will be the last weekly update for a while. I've decided that I need to spend more time and energy on other things.
This week sucked. At one point I was just a few words away from a possible break up with my girlfriend. I had a horrible week of work even though I wasn't there Monday or today.. I wasn't there because I am prepairing for school which starts next week... That in itself could ruine my week for me. Then, on top of that, I lost my op status in #Quake for a while. That didn't bother me as much as the way I was treated when it happened. I have that back now, but I doubt I will be spending very much time in the channel anymore.. or on IRC for that matter. I am going to put a resume together to send to Ionstorm although I know its pretty much hopeless... I've got to try.
As for for TLOT, I edited the plot alot the other night. I've really cleaned some more stuff up. I will, of course, still be making other updates to the page and I will put the new plot online soon. I also finished off the sprite for Staulker... I put Gerwins sprite on his character page... When I did it, I noticed I needed to do a general update of the character list and put a more clear description of each character.
Well, I'm kinda rushed right now and I need to be out the door in 6 mintues so I have to upload my updates and go... Keep an eye on this page because I will start the weekly updates again sometime in the future..
1/5/97The sample this week shows the start of a temple. I haven't done much shading yet. Not to say that I will, but it looks like it needs it to me. The "doorway" was a last minute addition for the screen shot. You'd be surprised how hard stairs are to do.
I got another letter from Brian yesterday. I don't guess I've fully explained why he left and what he's doing, but I just don't feel like typing it all out. I'll talk about that later I guess..
Not alot new with the game as a whole. I've been thinking more about shutting down the weekly updates and I've decided that I am going to do it, its just a matter of when. I've got school soon so next week might be my last for a while. I will work on that other demo and once I get it done I will put it online and at some point I will start doing weekly updates again. I just need more time. I've got to finish designing about five web pages soon.. Remeber, if you want to see this game finished, show your support by registering BOB!!! ... ok ok.. I'll give it a rest...
