The screenshot shows nothing new, but if you click on it you can see a map type image that shows you the general area for some of the towns on the overworld. Got lots left to do, but its slowly coming together. In my original plot line, I only had a few towns in each section. Basically the map was pretty sparse. I think I'm going to pack in a lot of extra little towns, dungeons and caves. Unfortunately, the more I think about it, the more I'm afriad that Talibah won't be a very long rpg. There are people who've been watching me make this game for years, too bad you'll only get to play for a few hours.

Anyway, I still haven't made any money. I'm slowly depleting my savings. I have to pay for school next semester and christmas is right around the corner. Frankly I don't have enough money in the bank to survive that long. This is absolutely insane. Things have got to start changing really soon. We've got the potential of three finished web pages to roll in over the next two months, but will it be soon enough? Looks like I better start spreading my resume around so I can go to work Jan 1.

Anyway, back to work. I've got to write a program to manipulate some spanning trees or something.. Woo, what fun. Then I get to do Physics homework, more fun! Then I get to Calc 2 homework, even MORE fun! Then I get to finish learning how to use minivend, that honestly is almost fun. Then I get to finish up the website I'm working on thats due Dec 1. THEN I'll have some free time to work on The Legend of Talibah!

Well, its not the weekend. Its the middle of the week, but I'm doing an update anyway.. Yesterday was exaclty one month from my last update. I have fallen far behind. I haven't made a single dollar since I left my job last month. However, my new company, Tempest Digital Solutions, made its first profit. Last week we secured a $500 check as a retainer for a page. I can't help but to wonder if this thing is really gonna fly or not. If not, come next January I'll either be looking into a subsidized school loan or trying to find a steady job again. If things work out, I'll also look into getting back into Gathering next summer while schools not an issue. Bla bla yakkity bla... do you guy's care to read about this stuff?

As usual, there's no significant new developments with The Legend of Talibah. I have, however, put time into working on it. The screen shot this week/month shows what will be very similar to the real and final version of the game. There stands Drudwyn right outside of Talibah Castle. Yes sir, I've been working on making maps lately. I also made another menu background for the heck of it. The image was created with the same texture as this website, with a beveled edge using a plugin designed for photoshop... but, I didn't use photoshop, I used Paint Shop Pro. PSP is my art program of choice. If you aren't familiar with it, check out Jasc's Web Site.

I also changed the midi on the site. I finally got all of ELC's music local. I was letting them play through while working on the game and this is one tune that stuck me as very cool. Its best on an AWE, but it doesn't sound too bad on my old FM synth card. The tune is Event 34.

On another note, it looks as though I could end up being involved in developing a soft core adult web site. Problem is, I don't have a place to host an adult site. If anyone knows someone who has a fairly quick web server and streaming video server (preferably real media) please let me know.
