| Involvement in story: Phonovan will join you party near the end, once you have assembled the rod of Phonovan. Phonovan is not wordly and joins your party as a spirit. He has spent hundreds of years fighting Aphillia's magic and he finally decides that there is no point to continue the battle as it will never end. The only solution is for Phonovan, with the help of Seth and Venetia, to destroy Aphillia once and for all. |

History:
Phonovan was the most powerful of the Shadonians ever to have lived. One of his pupils, Aphillia, was overtaken by power, greed, and arogance. She opened a portal allowing evil to pour into this world. Many Shads attempted to close the portal but could not. The creatures that poured through were easy enough to kill, but they began to become to great in number and were slowly getting stronger. In a final act of desperation, Phonovan had his mind, soul, and heart cast into three crystals and mounted in a magical rod. This rod was used by other Shads to close the portal. This rod, the Rod of Phonovan, can only be touched by Shadonian hands. Phonovan planned to spend eternity battleing Aphillia and keeping the gate sealed... but thats all changed now that the seal has been broken. | |
